Gold for former student David Levecq

David Levecq won the third Gold medal for the Spanish team 100 m free style with a time of 54.73. Spain placed fourth in the championship, after David Levecq, José Antonio Marí and Sarai Gascón also received Gold medals.

The Spanish team has won seven swimming medals, including three Gold medals during the opening day of the European Paralympic Swimming Championships, which took place in Berlin (beginning of July).

Four other Spanish women have achieved medals: Teresa Perales and Esther Morales won silver medals along with for Amaya Alonso and Marta Gomez winning bronze medals.

David Levecq did the International Master of Sport Management at the Johan Cruyff Institute Barcelona.
