The Johan Cruyff Institute for Sport Studies educates sportsmen, former sportsmen, and sports professionals. Our programmes adapt to every reality so that students can combine their sports careers and their studies, turn their passion for sport into their profession, and build a productive future to serve the common good of sport and society.
Education is a crucial bet in a changing environment. The Johan Cruyff Institute wants to contribute to sports education in the long term. We understand the needs and reality of sports people and organizations.
Our academic programmes offer solutions for sports people in all stages of their careers. All programmes are designed to help the student develop their skills, and expand their knowledge. We offer our programmes on site as well as online. For athletes throughout The Netherlands we offer additional degree programmes at the Johan Cruyff Colleges and Johan Cruyff Universities.

Online Education
The online platform of the Johan Cruyff Institute offers academic programmes through our Virtual Campus, thus eliminating time and geographical restrictions, while combining education and sport through its personalised online service.

Johan Cruyff Institute for Sport Studies

Johan Cruyff University
The Johan Cruyff University offers a four year Bachelor of Business Administration programme (BBA) in sport marketing. We deliver this programme in two cities in The Netherlands: Amsterdam and Tilburg. These programmes are delivered in Dutch.
Johan Cruyff College
The Johan Cruyff College offers study programmes at the vocational level (In Dutch: MBO) in sport & business and sport & coaching. We currently have Johan Cruyff Colleges in five cities in The Netherlands: Amsterdam, Enschede, Groningen, Nijmegen and Roosendaal. These programmes are delivered in Dutch.
